Certified lifeguards are responsible first and foremost for the safety of our guests. Prevention is the key to safety and lifeguards provide a safe environment by enforcing general park and safety rules. In addition to becoming Ellis and Associates certified, lifeguards undergo eight hours of in-service each month to maintain certification. Being water orientated and a good swimmer are required. Each employee should be able to: stand for periods of time with exposure to both sunlight and extreme temperatures; be properly attired and neatly groomed while on duty, be 16 years old or older; finally, the employee must be willing to complete any additional task as assigned by a supervisor/manager.
